INK Museum

Well, last Monday Clint had the day off so we decided to make it a VERY BUSY day. We started off with a couples "date" to the gym. Rarely do we get to go to the gym together but when we have time we take advantage of it. We even had a built in babysitter of the gym daycare...how romantic :) Then we decided for a little family time and took the girls to Gainsville to the INK Museum. For those of you that don't know...it is AWESOME!!!!! It is completely interactive and HUGE! We started off in an art room (it was Nurse's Week) so the girls got to make cards for kids in a hospital. Then they had a "baby" play room complete with a nursing area for mom's and everything. Then, the rest of the facility was real life "things" made into kid rooms. There was a post office, grocery store, library, salon, diner, bank (complete with a working ATM machine Melanie loved), vet, dentist office, dr office, radiology office, a REAL airplane, a REAL fire truck, a REAL police car, a school, an indoor playground, model train and semi-real train, and a health station. It was so AWESOME. We could stay so long. It was $8 for people over 2 years and you can come and go all day as you please and bring your lunch. It was so neat. I posted a million pics b/c I loved it so much. Even Natalie enjoyed playing with all of the stuff. There were hardly any people there and the girls just ran around and played. We ended the day with a quick trip to Discover Mills for Clint some new shirts, Chili's and a ride on the Carousel. I used to love spinning things...no longer! Clint & I were both feeling sick. It was Natalie's first time. We tried not paying for her and letting her watch but she had nothing to do with that so she rode to.

We LOVE that museum too! I took the kids a few months back and they had so much fun! We just forgot to bring lunch! :-(
Maybe we can go one day over the summer together...Grace and Melanie would have fun together on the dress up stage!
